Shoreline East is an outreach ministry to the homeless and broken hearted of East Austin. Every Saturday we are blessed with the opportunity to be the "Hands and Feet" of Jesus Christ to those that are less fortunate in our community. Every weekend we provide our East Austin Congregation with a full worship service, testimony, message, altar call and hot meal service. We look forward to serving alongside you to help meet the need in our community.
There are approx. 1500 meals served daily to the homeless in Austin. Shoreline serves approx. 350 meals per week to the homeless population. Shoreline provides opportunities throughout the week to help people get day jobs, apply for SSI/Disability, recieve bus passes, clothing for interviews and work, food pantry and Godly support. Shoreline East provides weekly bible studies in a small group setting at our East Austin office every Tuesday from 6pm to 7:30pm. In addition, Shoreline East provides weekly church service, with worship, prayer and teaching of the Word.

Saturday Service Time's and location have changed to 1:00pm and runs until 2:30pm. The service location is at Emmanuel Methodist Church at East 2nd street and I-35, 3 blocks South of our Shoreline East office. Volunteers should arrive at 12:30pm. I am very excited about this new location and the opportunity to partner with Pastor Mike Dobbs of Immanuel Methodist Church. We will be occupying his church lot and you will be able to park at either our Shoreline East office or along the residential streets of East 2nd and East 3rd next to the church. I look forward to serving with you all and really impacting our community and bringing Glory to Jesus Christ.

Shoreline East is partnering with Pastor Mike Dobbs of Immanuel Methodist Church. I am really excited about this because of the fact that we will be able to make an even bigger impact in our community by partnering with another ministry and I believe through our combined efforts, more people will be reached. Every Saturday at 1:00pm to 2:30pm Shoreline East, volunteers and ministry teams from Shoreline Christian Center will be meeting at Immanuel Methodist Church at East 2nd and I-35 frontage road. The church occupies the 2nd to 3rd street block between I-35 and Brushy st. in Downtown Austin. Volunteers are to arrive at the service location at 12:30pm. At 12:45pm I will go over all of our serving responsibilities and share the heart of the Saturday Outreach Service and then we will get started promptly at 1:00pm. I look forward to serving alongside each one of you and loving on those that desperately need a personal touch from our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Monday through Friday we provide assistance with food, clothing, I.D.'s, job placement, transitional housing referrals and S.S.I Disability Attorney referrals.
