"Love Revolution"

Revolution: A sudden or momentous change in a situation; a drastic and far-reaching change in ways of thinking and behaving; a significant change that often takes place in a short period of time.

Love: A profoundly tender, passionate, affection for another person. Deep, unconditional acceptance.

Jesus. The most prolific revolutionary of all time. On the planet for 33 years. In ministry for just three. Place him in any of the above definitions and it is obvious his nature, his life, and his ministry sparked a movement so far reaching that scholars, to this day, still can’t wrap their minds around the ever present impact of a life powered by such an all encompassing love.

A love that communicates perfect intimacy, that can set the bound lives free, touch the forgotten, leave an uneraseble mark on the next generation, and provide a passion for living on purpose.

This is the love that inspired us for Shine '08. We were transformed by the messaging and deeply moved by all that took place at conference this year. We know all in attendance were unified and empowered to walk out the commission to be God's love agents to the lost and hurting.
